Thanks to advancements in harvesting technology, the produce we use in our entreés and sauces provide greater nutritional value, taste, and freshness than most of the “fresh” produce in some grocery stores. That’s because the farms we partner with flash freeze their produce within hours of it being harvested, which locks in virtually all of its freshly-picked nutritional value.
By comparison, most grocery store produce is hauled off to warehouses after harvesting, where it sits until being shipped to your store.
So, by the time it gets to your grocery store, its nutritional value isn’t what it used to be.
